Not True to Size
This is my second product from Ostomy Secrets. The first one was the Foxy Wrap in XS.  While I wrote a positive review about it at the time- I found I barely wore it due to snugness and inconvenience (could not keep it on under clothing all day, had to put on right before intimacy which was not always possible unless I wanted to disrupt the moment). Honestly, I just don't wear it at all anymore.

I wanted to try this swim wrap because I felt the length would be better for intimacy, and with the water resistant material thought it might be good for wearing when I work out in my garden next summer. This summer I couldn't do a lot because it was very hot and the heat mixed with sweat made my wafer peel right off, and this was about half an hour after I had put it on. The fact it's made for swimming was also a plus in case I did get a chance to go to a pool next summer.

I did not want to make the same sizing mistake I had with the Foxy Wrap. There was a good sale so with the deadline in mind I measured -and remeasured!- myself for 3 days. I used my Foxy Wrap as well as a non ostomy waist wrap I wear all the time for additional references.

I'm 5'3 104, not stick thin but with a fairly flat/even stomach save for where my surgical scar is. My natural waist is 27/28 depending on how tight I'm holding the tape; hips 34 at their widest point.

After all my measuring and consulting and triple checking OstomySecrets' size chart, I finally took the plunge and sized up to a Small, which says it should fit waist 28-30 and hips 36-38. The Swim wrap is based on waist measurements, so I figured I should have 2 inches of wiggle room in the waist and a couple inches in the hips for a snug but comfortable fit.

Well, as you can guess by the review title that was NOT the case. The swim wrap looked to be of nice quality-just like the Foxy Wrap. However as I begin to pull it on I could immediatly tell it was too tight.

This wasn't a 'comfortable snug' fit like you want in an ostomy wrap. This was a 'horribly constricting I need it off NOW' fit. I re tried it on a couple hours later to see if I could tolerate it enough to try and let it stretch out a bit but I'm quite sensitive to over tight clothing so I am returning it.

Honestly I really wanted this product to work for me. Another issue I had with the Foxy Wrap was it was too long on me. These Swim Wrap seemed like the perfect solution, and it was in that regard. However I think Ostomy Secrets should try out different materials as this does not have enough stretch to it (not like a swim suit). Compared to the Foxy Wrap, I think that wrap is actually stretchier so maybe they can make another product with that material that would be more comfortable.

The pros I can say are the product seems well made and Ostomy Secrets has a fair return policy which is HUGE since other ostomy product sites I've looked at have none. So 2 stars for that. But they really need to reevaluate their size chart, or consider different materials to justify the sizing. My advise if you want to try this product then is to order at least 1 size up if not 2.

Works well under my bathing suit for intense swim workouts. I like the additional layer of security it adds, so I know my appliance isn't shifting around. I have been in the pool for over an hour and worn belts/bungee cords around my waist for training and no problems. One drawback: this wrap does tend to stretch out with use (like a swimsuit does) so I find I need to replace it annually or so.

Dissatisfied customer
I purchased the swim wrap due to the implication that you use this to protect your ostomy so you could go swimming. This is totally misleading and in addition, the pouch is only half the size of your bag and protects nothing and will not hold it safe or securely  it protects nothing from water/getting wet. I complained..I got a free everyday wrap sent..guess what ?   If you guessed the everyday wrap was the exact same wrap as the swim wrap you would be correct. These are NOT good products and will not do what they are advertised to do....either one....extremely disappointed and thoroughly disgusted........I have not worn either sine they do not work so they lay on my table uselessness ....please do not waste your money....beware....

Swim Wrap
I purchased this item along with the classic wrap.
Initially I had planned to use this only for swimming, but found that it is a great substitute for when my classic is being laundered.  It is just the right size and is also great for sleeping. It really keeps the bag in place without restraining you during sleep. I am purchasing 2 more today. It is a great product and reasonably priced. Thank you Ostomy secrets.

Swin Trunks
The pocket is sawn so far down, my pouch is not supported at all.
I have been wearing their underware daily for many yrs with comfort and
confidence.  VERY disappointed in swim wear.

Did the job
Worked fine for me. I didn't let the bag get very full, and this worked very nicely for coverage with a tankini top and bikini bottoms. I think if I were going to swim with it all day I'd have to be pretty careful to empty bag frequently (just to avoid a "bulge"), but that's life.

It seems well made. A little pricey, but worth it for the ability to swim with less self consciousness!

** Re. sizing, I'm glad I consulted with your sales rep, as I was thinking of getting a M based on my waist measurement but I went with a large (closer to hip measurement; more based on the area of my torso where the stoma is), and I definitely needed the L.

swim wrap
Very disapointed ,didn't meet my expectations .didn't hold bag well at all, and kept rolling up.waste of my money. The boxer breifs did the job I wish I bought more @ the time. just put a order in for some more briefs.

Great accessory - many uses
I bought the wrap when it first came out and am purchasing a second.  It's nice because I can wear it with any suit, don't have to worry about  getting an extra high bottom with my tankini.  If I stretch and my top climbs up, I'm covered.  I also use it when I go in a sauna, hot tub or steambath, so no one is staring at my pouch.  It has less material and dries quicker than the swim bottom.
